On June 11th “Because The Sky Will Be Filled With Sulfur,” a show by artist Jeremy Bolen opened at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Atlanta. Contemplating deep time, Bolen consider the future-history of the climate crisis and the “aesthetics of a possible geo-engineered future,” through works including photos documenting an expedition to Searsville Reservoir (a key Anthropocene site), sculptural video installations, and a series of casts of 20th century relics.
