“Variations,” nonagenarian Hungarian artist Vera Molnar’s first solo show in North America, opens at the Beall Center for Art + Technology in Irvine, California. Curated by David Familian, and showcasing the Spalter collection, the exhibition surveys major Molnar series including A la recherche de Paul Klee (1970), (Dés-)Ordres (1974), and Lettre de ma mère (1985-90), offering a rare chance to dive deep into the oeuvre of one of computer art’s founding figures.
