“Time Zone Protocols,” an exhibition interrogating the implications of adopting Greenwich Mean Time as an international standard, opens at New York’s Parsons School of Design. Black Quantum Futurism’s analysis of the standard’s 1884 origins, and efforts to “unmap the imperialist global time colonization project” are supported by a companion website and upcoming unconference (image: Ancestors returning again / this time only to themselves, 2021).
