Canadian architect Frank Gehry dies at 96 in Los Angeles. Forging a deconstructivist aesthetic from Venice Beach in the 1970s, Gehry pioneered the use of aerospace software to sculpt curvaceous forms including Guggenheim Bilbao (1997) and the Walt Disney Concert Hall (2003).
