French artist Laure Prouvost transforms Kraftwerk Berlin, a former power plant, into a multi-sensory scenography exploring quantum phenomena and non-binary cosmologies. Commissioned by LAS Art Foundation to kick off the two-year Sensing Quantum program, We Felt a Star Dying (2025) grows out of Prouvost’s work with Google Quantum AI researchers and turns quantum computations into video, scent, and sculpture to “entangle us all in a preferred state and place.”
